Drayton Melton

FroImage result for drayton melton golfm a young age, Drayton developed a respect and love for the game of golf.  In 2009, Drayton won the Coca-Cola Spartanburg County Junior Amateur Championship to cement his place among the top amateur golfers in South Carolina. Shortly thereafter, Drayton took his golfing abilities first to Spartanburg Methodist College and then to Professional Golfers Career College (PGCC).  At PGCC, Drayton won the first annual PGCC match play champion and was named the Most Valuable Player at PGCC.

After graduating in 2013, Drayton found his passion for teaching golf while working as a Director of Instruction at TGC at Pleasant Point Plantation. In 2014, Drayton achieved his lifelong dream of becoming a professional golfer and has since cashed over 20+ checks as a professional golfer.

Coach Drayton has worked with First Tee, a youth development organization that builds character, instills life-enhancing values, and promotes healthy choices through the game of golf. Previously, Coach Drayton was an Assistant Director of First Tee in Spartanburg, SC. Coach Drayton will be continuing his work with First Tee at KOHR!

At KOHR, Drayton conducts both group clinics and individual lessons for golfers of all ages and skill levels.
