Our Mission & Team
Our mission is to SPARK ENTHUSIASM and KINDLE A LASTING LOVE for the game of golf among our young athletes. We aim to create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere where students can enjoy the spirit of the game, learn valuable life skills, and embrace personal growth. Our approach is to nurture not just the athlete, but the individual, fostering a sense of fun, camaraderie, and a lifelong appreciation for the sport and its values.
Dan Moran 🇺🇸
Why I Coach: I have a deep passion for the game and a strong desire to share my knowledge and expertise with others. Witnessing my students’ progress and improvement provides me with a sense of accomplishment and pride. Coaching allows me to forge a strong connection with my students, helping them overcome challenges, refine their skills, and enjoy the game more. It’s also an opportunity for me to continuously learn and refine my own teaching methods, which is truly more rewarding than I ever could have imagined.
Fun Fact: I’ve been to over 30 cities in Europe!
Career Highlight: Being able to caddy for some of our long time junior students and see them perform well under pressure.
David Peckham 🇺🇸
Why I Coach: The reason I coach is to grow the game and to help people do things they didn’t know they could.
Fun Fact: I was a criminal justice/criminology student at the University of Tampa.
Career Highlight: Still to come… but every time someone makes an improvement I would consider a highlight.
Alexander Pearce 🇺🇸
Why I Coach: To inspire my students and help them find enjoyment in golf. It is very rewarding to see my students develop athletically and personally through a sport that I am incredibly passionate about.
Fun Fact: I love data and numbers and try to incorporate them while I coach.
Career Highlight: Getting to work with a group of knowledgeable and inspirational coaches at KOHR, and with students who are passionate about golf and eager to learn.
Nick Barber 🇺🇸
Why I coach: I started in the golf industry as a caddy when I was 13 and became interested in trying to figure out how to make the player perform better. I’m greatly influenced by my dad who has been a pga pro for almost 40 years, so you could say it’s in my DNA. I’m super fascinated with biomechanics and anatomy and how that influences the golf swing.
Fun fact: I tried out for the Navy SEALS
Career highlight: Coaching juniors this summer at KOHR.

Some students require encouragement to discover their passions, while others may benefit from focused direction. We believe that learning should be a fun and exciting journey, and our goal is to help students explore various avenues of knowledge while never sacrificing the joy and creativity that make education truly transformative.
