Mai is a dedicated golf instructor renowned for her passion in blending cutting-edge research in golf biomechanics with practical applications, ensuring her students receive top-notch instruction. Drawing from her extensive background as a former Wake Forest player, professional long driver, and lifelong learner, Mai approaches teaching with a unique perspective that not only resonates with her students as a golfer but also empowers them to achieve their full potential on & off the course.
As a golf academy student herself since the age of 12, Mai understands the transformative power of proper training and mentorship. Recognizing the importance of mastering various elements, she immersed herself in comprehensive training and mentorship, cultivating both technical prowess and a growth mindset. Motivated by passion for continual growth, Mai pursued knowledge beyond the fairways, earning a minor in psychology from Wake Forest University and obtaining Corrective Exercise Specialist certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, empowering her to gain a deeper understanding of the body and the mind to help cultivate the best player one can be. For Mai, golf’s allure lies in its boundless capacity for learning, a passion she channels into becoming the best instructor possible.
In addition to her collegiate and professional experience, Mai has also mentored KOHR Academy students over the past few years, sharing her knowledge and passion for the game with aspiring young golfers. Furthermore, she has taught golf in her home country, Thailand, enriching her teaching experience and deepening her cultural understanding. With a professional career that includes a second-place finish in the 2021 Professional World Long Drive Championship, Mai embodies unparalleled success and unwavering dedication.
