Iain Highfield 🏴
Why I coach: I am very passionate about educating, inspiring and empowering future generations of this world to be process focused, happy people who can reach their full potential.
Fun fact: When I was 20 years old I won a TV dating show and went to Euro Disney.
Career highlight: Publishing a book on effective golf practice and sharing it on NBC’s Golf Channel.
Brandon Pelphrey 🇺🇸
Why I coach: I love that coaching gives me the opportunity to educate and empower people to improve and find fulfillment in a sport that has had such an amazing impact on my life and countless others.
Fun fact: I love cooking and I hope to open a restaurant one day.
Career highlight: I worked as a golf professional at a top 15 ranked golf club in the country.
Andrew Losey 🇺🇸
Why I Coach: I became a coach to positively influence the happiness of others while they pursue their goals and dreams in the game of golf.
Fun Fact: I coached my first professional golfer at the age of 22 and published my first book, “The Bunker Bible”, at the age of 24.
Career Highlight: Coaching and mentoring Luke Poulter, son of 7 time Ryder Cup player Ian Poulter, leading to his eventual Division I scholarship to play at the University of Florida.
Mai Dechathipat 🇹🇭
Why I Coach: I coach because I believe in the power of personal growth and transformation. Witnessing individuals overcome challenges, unlock their potential, both on and off the course, and achieve their goals is incredibly fulfilling.
Fun Fact: I’ve run, swum, and cycled in an Olympic-sized triathlon a couple of times at home by myself as my Sunday workout.
Career Highlight: I finished second at the PLDA World Championship in 2021 and have won the World Long Drive competition twice since then. I also competed for the D1 golf team at Wake Forest University.
Kevin Bryan 🇰🇷
Why I coach: I coach for the “Ah-ha!” moments. I love seeing conceptual ideologies transform into applied practices through consistent and effective training. Creating a positive change in another human’s life is an incredibly gratifying experience and I am lucky to have a career that allows me to do so on such a regular basis.
Fun fact: At 3 months old I was a BIG 25lb baby (avg. 1 year olds are ~20lbs).
Career highlight: Getting to work so closely with such talented and hardworking coaches here at KOHR that cultivates a really fun learning environment.
Nate Shawver 🇺🇸
Why I Coach: I am driven by a desire to create lasting positive experiences on the golf course in the lives of others. This passion always comes out on the lesson tee!
Fun Fact: Was given the Dottie Pepper (LPGA Golfer) Award for Leadership for captaining my high school golf team and my dedication to mentoring younger student athletes.
Career Highlight: Working extensively with an amateur client in North Carolina that resulted in a 18 shot decrease in average score over just one golf season!
Alex Ostrow 🇺🇸
Why I Coach: I coach to help golfers learn the importance and impact the mental side of the game can have on their performance, both on and off the golf course. Golf is also my biggest passion in life, and I want to help spread my love of the game to others.
Fun Fact: I recently switched careers from the business world to mental health!
Career Highlight: I was a member of the 2006 MA State Champion Holliston High School golf team, and I hit a hole in one when I was 18 years old.
Joey Kang 🇺🇸
Why I coach: To help athletes of all skill levels enjoy the benefits and personal development that are possible through sport participation.
Fun fact: I love playing all kinds of sports such as softball, basketball, flag- football and even spikeball.
Career highlight: Working with youth, NCAA Division III, and NCAA Division I athletes to enhance their sport performance through mental skills training and seeing the positive results.
